Venice Commission: top court should avoid conflicts over reforms

Officials from the Venice Commission of the Council of Europe stated on Wednesday that the Constitutional Court should have a limited role in deciding the constitutionality of amendments recently approved by Parliament, saying justices should disassociate themselves from any such decision because of conflicts of interest.
