MİT may be split into internal, external intelligence

With the recent appointment of Dr. Hakan Fidan as the new undersecretary of the National Intelligence Organization (MİT), the agency is expected to become more civilian, with an anticipated division into two parts — namely, internal and external intelligence -– in the process shedding its cumbersome structure.
