Deputies motion for investigation of suspicious incidents

In the wake of a series of workshops organized by the government to learn about the problems and needs of Turkey’s Alevi community, a motion has been submitted in Parliament requesting the establishment of an investigatory committee to look into anti-Alevi pogroms and numerous other provocative acts throughout Turkey’s history that have taken the lives of hundreds and seem to have been orchestrated by an invisible hand.
